We would like to inform you that we fully recognize and are keen to ensure the complete protection of merchants' rights across our platform. We always strive to maintain the complete information and data of merchants in accordance with the privacy policy and confidentiality mechanisms in force at "Shoplo". Accordingly, this document informs you of the privacy policy and confidentiality of information applied at "Shoplo". Pursuant to the terms of the user agreement, we have established these rules "Privacy Policy and Confidentiality of Information" to clarify and define the confidentiality and privacy mechanism applied on the platform. Please review this policy carefully, as by logging into "Shoplo" and establishing your electronic store, all your information and data become subject to this policy.
First: Information Obtained and Retained by "Shoplo" in its Electronic Systems
1. Personal Information of the Merchant: Includes (Name, Email Address, Civil ID number, or Residency/Iqama number). 2. Store Information: Includes (Store Name, Customer Service Number, Main Branch Address, and any other branches, if applicable). 3. Electronic Store Login Information: Includes (Username, Password, and Login Email). 4. Banking Data: Includes (Account Holder Name, Account Number, and International Bank Account Number (IBAN)) for the purpose of electronically linking the bank account with payment transactions.
Second: Sharing of Merchant and Store Information
1. Naturally, "Shoplo" seeks to maintain the confidentiality of this information and protect the merchant's privacy. The platform retains this information solely for the purpose of improving the quality of provided services, enhancing the operation of the electronic store, and facilitating and streamlining the merchant's and store's business operations. 2. None of this information is accessed except by certain personnel at "Shoplo" who have officially obtained a viewing permit from the platform's management. This permit is specific, restricted, and subject to legal and administrative oversight. The platform's management guarantees that this information will not be published, in whole or in part, to any unauthorized third party legally. 3. In striving to maintain the operational integrity of the store and protect merchants' rights, if "Shoplo" management observes any irregular or illegal activity conducted by the merchant, the platform pursuant to the terms and conditions of the user agreement has the right to share any of this information with the competent authorities to take necessary measures against the violating merchant or store. This is done to protect the platform, other merchants, stores, and consumers from any legal liability that may arise from such illegal or irregular activity on the platform.
Third: Consumers' and Customers' Information
1. As "Shoplo" constantly strives to maintain the operational quality of electronic stores and improve their performance, the platform remains consistently informed about the numbers, demographics, and segments of the electronic stores' consumers and customers to provide ongoing support and improvements.
Fourth: Confidentiality of Merchant and Store Information
1. "Shoplo" always strives to maintain the confidentiality of platform users' information. This privacy policy does not violate any provisions of the user agreement or the privacy and confidentiality policy. However, given that 100% security cannot be guaranteed in the (internet space), the "Shoplo" team highlights the following: 2. "Shoplo" endeavors to keep all store information secure and prevent any unauthorized access that violates the policies enforced on the platform. 3. "Shoplo" protects merchant and store information using high-quality electronic and technical security systems that are continuously and periodically updated.
Fifth: Revenue, Product, and Service Information
1. By virtue of its operational role as a platform provider, "Shoplo" has constant visibility over the types of products and/or services displayed in the electronic store, as well as the financial and operational performance of the store (accessed through the payment gateways provided by the platform). This is done in cases where support, guidance, or counseling is required for merchants or store managers to help them solve problems, improve performance, and develop sales.
Sixth: Strategic and Logistics Services (Third-Party Services)
1. If a merchant applies to subscribe to a service provided via a third party through "Shoplo", the merchant thereby grants full and complete authorization and permission to the platform's management to provide the service provider (the third party) with the merchant's, store's, or subscribed user's data required for the service (such as: username, personal phone number, email address, civil ID, address, and any other information needed by the third-party service provider). This enables the third-party service provider to deliver the requested service to which the user has subscribed effectively.
